Summer Dance (July 2010)
A selection of photos from our Summer Dance held on 10th July - we had a Beach Party theme, hence the few "dodgy" shirts! A great night of dancing and socialising yet again! During the evening, we "rolled the £1 coin at the bottles", and raised a fabulous £150 for the NSPCC. Pictured with Amanda are the two Steves who each won a bottle!
Awards Presentation (July 2010)
Here are a few photos from our Awards Presentation held on 10th July, following the Examination Session on 23rd May. Our youngsters demonstrated their dances and were presented with their awards in front of their families. A 100% pass rate yet again, with all our grade medallists achieving 85% or higher - fantastic work!
Easter Dance (March 2010)
Our Easter Dance, on Saturday 27th March, was another wonderful night of dancing, fun and frolics! The highlight of the evening was when we all learnt the "Circle Waltz" which, after a little confusion and much laughter, went down a storm! We also organised a raffle, with a lovely array of gifts donated by pupils, which raised an astounding £200 for the Marie Curie Cancer Care "Daffodil Dance" Appeal.
Medal Presentation (February 2010)
Following our examination session at the end of November 2009, pupils attended our Medal Presentation on 13th February, where the children demonstrated their dances to friends and family and all pupils were presented with their awards. Once again our pupils achieved a 100% pass rate, with excellent grades.
Valentines Dance (February 2010)
What a wonderful night of dancing we all had, once again, on 13th February! A group of our younger dancers - Charlotte Hoather, Tom Hoather, Elinor Carr and Amy Warrener - gave the audience a wonderful demonstration of Tango, Streetdance and ChaCha (pictured with Teacher, Gemma, who choreographed the routine).
Christmas Dance (December 2009)
Below are a selection of photographs taken at our Christmas Dance. Everyone made a special effort to dress up in "black tie & posh frocks" and, as always, we had a fantastic night! Our "Bingo" fundraiser made a whopping £200, which was donated to The Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Halloween Dance (October 2009)
Another lovely night of dancing & socialising with friends old and new - this time with a "spooky" twist! Our fundraiser, "guess the number of sweets in the bucket" raised an amazing £200 which has been donated to the BBC's Children In Need Appeal.
